Planning & Billing Engineer

We are seeking for Planning Engineer with 3-8 years of experience with a Contractor firm for planning, and overseeing the development of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, Candidates from MUMBAI with a postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering and be proficient in Primavera and Microsoft Project (MSP) will be preferred. Only local Candidates of Mumbai or who are staying in Mumbai needs to apply

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.

2. Design and Documentation: Prepare detailed designs, specifications, and estimates for infrastructure projects.

3. Site Investigation: Conduct site investigations to gather data for design and planning.

4. Permitting and Approvals: Obtain necessary permits and approvals from regulatory authorities.

5. Tendering and Procurement: Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts.

6. Construction Management: Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations.

7. Coordination: Collaborate with clients, engineers, sub contractors, and stakeholders.

8. Quality Control: Monitor and ensure quality standards are met.

9. Cost Management: Control and manage project expenses.

10. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks.

Specific Tasks:

1. Develop project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget estimates.

2. Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.

3. Design infrastructure components

4. Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.

6. Manage and supervise junior engineers, technicians, and surveyors.

7. Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress.

8. Identify and resolve design and construction issues.

9. Develop and implement environmental and safety plans.

10.Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ) & bills with item rates from tender.

11. Prepare & process subcontractor bills.

12.Preparing reconciliation statements.

13.To take the measurement from the site engineer

Required Skills:

1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

2. Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and standards.

3. Proficiency in AUTOCAD software

4. Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.

5. Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

6. Experienced with construction management software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).

Work Environment:

1. Office environment (design, planning, and administrative tasks).

2. Construction sites (site investigations, inspections, and monitoring).

3. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
