Centre Head
Location: Andheri & Kandivali, Mumbai
Work Type: Full-time | On-site
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month
Role Overview
The Centre Head will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the preschool and daycare centre. This role requires a balance of leadership, administrative oversight, and academic supervision to ensure a positive and enriching environment for children, parents, and staff.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and approachable leader who can foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere while maintaining high standards of education, safety, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions & Enrolment Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospective parents
- Provide detailed information on programs, curriculum, and facilities
- Conduct centre tours and drive admissions conversions
- Manage lead follow-ups and enrolment processes
- Ensure smooth onboarding and documentation
2. Parent Engagement & Communication
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding child progress
- Share updates on events, activities, and announcements
- Address concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with families
3. Leadership & Centre Operations
- Oversee day-to-day centre operations
- Supervise and mentor teaching and support staff
- Drive team performance and engagement
- Ensure adherence to policies and quality standards
- Manage inventory, procurement, and infrastructure
4. Academic Oversight
- Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum
- Monitor program quality and learning outcomes
- Support teachers with resources and guidance
- Plan and supervise events and activities
5. Administration & Reporting
- Maintain records of enquiries, admissions, and student data
- Track enrolment metrics and conversion rates
- Prepare reports and coordinate with internal teams
6. Safety & Quality Management
- Ensure a safe, clean, and hygienic environment
- Implement health and safety protocols
- Conduct regular inspections and maintain standards
7. Crisis & Conflict Management
- Handle emergencies efficiently
- Resolve conflicts involving parents, staff, or children professionally
8. Professional Development
- Stay updated with early childhood education trends
- Participate in training programs and workshops
- Encourage continuous learning within the team
Qualifications & Skills
- Certification in Early Childhood Education / Child Psychology
- Minimum 5 years of experience in early childhood education (leadership role preferred)
- Strong understanding of child development principles
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office
