Job description- Purchase Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies for interior materials and furnishings.
• Research and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure quality standards are met.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements with suppliers to achieve the best outcomes for the company.
• Manage relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking new ones to diversify our options.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs to prevent delays in project timelines.
• Collaborate with project managers and designers to understand material requirements and specifications.
• Analyze market trends and apply insights to improve purchasing strategies and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the interiors or construction industry.
• Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions based on market trends.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
