QA Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications across web and mobile platforms. You will be responsible for testing Next.js (React), Node.js backend systems, and Flutter mobile apps, identifying bugs, and ensuring a smooth user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Quality Assurance

Perform manual and/or automated testing for:

Web apps (Next.js / React)

Backend APIs (Node.js)

Mobile apps (Flutter - Android & iOS)

Validate functionality, UI/UX, responsiveness, and performance.

Conduct regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Bug Tracking & Reporting

Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Trello, or GitHub Issues.

Write clear and reproducible bug reports with steps, expected vs actual results, screenshots/videos.

Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues efficiently.

Test Planning & Documentation

Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.

Ensure coverage of edge cases and real-world user flows.

Maintain QA documentation for future reference.

API & Backend Testing

Test REST APIs using tools like Postman or Insomnia.

Validate data integrity, authentication, and error handling.

Cross-Platform Testing

Ensure compatibility across:

Different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge)

Devices and screen sizes

Android & iOS platforms

Continuous Improvement

Suggest improvements for performance, usability, and security.

Work closely with developers and product teams to enhance product quality.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

Experience testing:

React / Next.js applications

Node.js APIs

Flutter mobile apps

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, GitHub, etc.).

Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman).

Basic understanding of databases (SQL or MongoDB).

Ability to write clear test cases and reports.

Good to Have

Experience with automation testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of performance and security testing.
