QA / QC Manager

Job Summary:We are looking for a Quality Manager with experience in the interior fit-out / furniture manufacturing industry. The role involves ensuring product quality across raw materials, in-process production, and final installation while maintaining high standards of workmanship and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:1. Quality Control & Assurance

• Monitor quality of raw materials (plywood, laminates, hardware, veneers, etc.)
• Ensure quality checks at all stages – cutting, edge banding, polishing, assembly, and dispatch
• Conduct final inspection before site delivery

2. Site & Execution Quality

• Perform site inspections for interior fit-outs and furniture installation
• Ensure finishing standards (alignment, polish, joints, fittings) meet client expectations
• Coordinate with project/site teams for quality compliance

3. Process Improvement

• Identify defects and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
• Reduce rework, wastage, and customer complaints
• Standardize SOPs for manufacturing and installation

4. Vendor & Material Quality

• Evaluate vendor quality and incoming materials
• Develop vendor quality benchmarks
• Handle rejection and replacement of defective materials

5. Client Handling & Documentation

• Address client complaints and ensure timely resolution
• Maintain quality reports, checklists, and inspection records
• Ensure compliance with drawings, BOQ, and specifications
• Key Requirements:Diploma/Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Interior Design or related field
• 5–10 years experience in furniture manufacturing / interior fit-outs
• Strong knowledge of materials: plywood, MDF, laminates, veneers, hardware fittings
• Experience in modular furniture / custom furniture execution
• Ability to read drawings and BOQs
• Preferred Skills:Experience in factory + site quality handling
• Knowledge of polish/paint finishes and carpentry standards
• Familiarity with brands like Hettich, Hafele, Ebco fittings
• Strong coordination with production and design teams
• KPIs / Performance Metrics:Reduction in site complaints and rework
• On-time quality clearance for dispatch
• Vendor rejection rate
• Client satisfaction score
• Defect-free project handover
