About the RoleEverhome Café is looking for a confident, highly presentable Floor Captain to lead front-of-house service. This role requires strong communication skills, operational control of the floor, and the ability to deliver polished, warm hospitality while supervising the service team.

Key ResponsibilitiesFloor Leadership

• Supervise and coordinate all service staff during shifts
• Ensure smooth flow of service from seating to billing
• Manage reservations, waiting guests, and table allocation
• Support the team during peak hours

Guest Experience

• Welcome and engage guests warmly
• Handle special requests, feedback, and concerns professionally
• Ensure every table receives attentive, unobtrusive service
• Maintain a calm, solution-oriented approach

Service Standards

• Maintain high standards of grooming, etiquette, and presentation across the team
• Ensure correct order taking, service sequence, and table maintenance
• Monitor food and beverage quality before service
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely delivery

Communication & Coordination

• Act as the bridge between guests, service staff, kitchen, and management
• Conduct briefings before shifts when required
• Train and mentor junior servers

Operations & Hygiene

• Oversee opening and closing procedures of the floor
• Ensure cleanliness, table setup, and ambience standards
• Maintain compliance with hygiene and safety protocols
• Requirements4–5 years of service experience in premium hospitality settings
• Proven experience in a supervisory or captain role
• Excellent spoken English (mandatory)
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Highly presentable with professional grooming
• Ability to manage pressure and multitask
• Flexible to work weekends and holidays
