Job Summary:

The Restaurant Helper assists in the daily operations of the restaurant by supporting kitchen and service staff. This role involves maintaining cleanliness, organizing supplies, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring that customers receive prompt and courteous service.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, etc.)

Ensure that dining and kitchen areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.

Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans as needed.

Refill condiments, napkins, and other dining supplies.

Support waitstaff by clearing tables, carrying food trays, and serving water.

Dispose of garbage properly and follow restaurant waste management procedures.

Help unload and store food and beverage deliveries.

Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.

Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is an advantage

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene

Good communication and customer service skills

Physical stamina to stand, lift, and carry items for extended periods
