Room Service

Core Responsibilities

• Order Taking & Delivery: Promptly taking food and beverage orders via phone and delivering them accurately to guest rooms.
• Menu Knowledge: Maintaining in-depth knowledge of menu items, ingredients, cooking methods, and beverage selections to answer guest questions.
• Service & Setup: Preparing, arranging, and serving orders, including clearing and returning trays/carts from guest rooms.
• Customer Service: Ensuring a positive, professional demeanor and addressing guest queries or complaints promptly.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Maintaining cleanliness of the room service station, service trolleys, and equipment, while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or customer service role is often preferred.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry heavy trays for long periods.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication to interact with guests and kitchen staff.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent time management to ensure timely, efficient delivery of orders.
