Target Clients: R&D LABS /F & B LABS/ Formulation Units / API mfg. units

Location: MUMBAI & Surrounding Geography

Reports To: Sales Head / Director



Job Summary:

We are seeking a technically qualified and result-oriented Sales Executive to promote speciality chemicals, pharmaceutical equipment, and filtration products to formulation plants, API manufacturers, and R&D laboratories. The candidate will be responsible for business development, technical discussions, order conversion, and payment follow-ups.



Key Responsibilities:

1️⃣ Business Development & Sales

  • Generate new business from formulation companies, API units, and R&D labs.
  • Promote speciality chemicals, solvents, excipients, lab equipment, and filtration systems.
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Handle inquiry generation, quotation submission, and negotiation.

2️⃣ Technical Sales & Coordination

  • Understand technical specifications required by QA/QC, Production, and R&D departments.
  • Recommend suitable grades/specifications as per pharmacopeia standards (IP/BP/USP).
  • Coordinate with manufacturers/principals for COA, technical data sheets, and regulatory documents.

3️⃣ Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with Purchase Managers, QA Heads, Production Managers, and R&D teams.
  • Regular client visits and follow-ups.
  • Gather market intelligence and competitor information.

4️⃣ Order & Payment Management

  • Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for smooth dispatch.
  • Monitor pending orders and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure timely payment collection and maintain receivables.

5️⃣ Documentation & Compliance Support

  • Assist customers with documentation requirements (COA, MSDS, Technical Specs).
  • Support tender submissions and vendor registrations where required.



Required Qualifications:

  • B.Sc / M.Sc (Chemistry)
  • OR
  • B.Pharm / M.Pharm
  • OR
  • Chemical Engineering background



Experience Required:

  • 2–5 years experience in Pharma Chemicals / Lab Equipment / Filtration Sales
  • Experience handling Formulation/API clients preferred



Skills Required:

  • Strong technical understanding of pharma raw materials
  • Knowledge of regulatory documentation (COA, MSDS, GMP, etc.)
  • Excellent negotiation & communication skills
  • Ability to handle B2B industrial sales
  • Good Excel & quotation preparation skills



Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Existing pharma industry contacts
  • Willing for field visits
  • Own vehicle preferred
  • Target-driven & self-motivated
