Sales Executive at a 5-star hotel is primarily responsible for driving revenue through the proactive sale of room nights, banquet spaces, and other hotel services to corporate clients, travel agents, and individual guests. - Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities, particularly within corporate segments and high-net-worth individual (HNI) markets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term professional relationships through regular sales calls, meetings, and property site inspections.
- Revenue Maximization: Implement sales action plans to exceed targets, focusing on room sales, meeting spaces, and upselling hotel facilities like spas or fine dining.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct competitor research and stay updated on travel trends to implement effective pricing and promotional strategies.
- Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, leads, and client databases using CRM software like Salesforce. Indeed +8
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Usually requires a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or Marketing.
- Experience: Typically ranges from 1 to 4 years in hotel sales or a similar luxury sales role.
- Personal Traits: High energy, a "permanent smile," exceptional negotiation skills, and a polished appearance are critical for 5-star environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office and CRM tools.
