Sales Executive

Lead Generation & Business Development

• Identify and research high-potential consumer segments, new markets, and potential clients (e.g., builders, architects, electrical contractors, distributors) through various online and offline channels.

• Conduct extensive cold calling, cold emailing, and field visits to initiate contact and generate new business opportunities.

• Qualify leads effectively to determine their potential and assign a lead score, passing sales-ready leads to the senior sales team or managing them through the sales cycle.

• Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation campaigns and provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness. 

2. Sales & Relationship Management

• Present and demonstrate product offerings, including technical specifications of light switches, smart controls, and related electrical components, to potential clients.

• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial lead generation, technical consulting, negotiation, and closure to payment collection. 

3. Market Analysis & Reporting

• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities, evaluate customer needs, and stay abreast of the latest developments and competitor activity.

• Track leads and document all interactions accurately in the CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

• Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

• Experience: Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role, with a minimum of 2 years in the sales of electrical products, lighting, or home automation solutions.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical products, specifically light switches, wiring, LED lighting, and switchgear.

• Core Skills: Excellent communication (English proficiency mandatory), negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Software Proficiency: Proficient in using MS Office Suite and CRM software.

• Personal Attributes:

o Highly motivated, self-goal-oriented, and proactive approach.

o Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Requirements: 

• B.E / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering or related discipline

• Proven track record of 05 years of working in a similar role.

• Interest in Lighting/ Electronics products

• Ability to work independently to canvass

• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential attributes
