Job Title: Sunglasses Sales Associate (Retail)

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, understand their needs, lifestyle, and preferences.
• Provide expert guidance on sunglasses frames, lenses, and coatings tailored to requirements like UV protection, fit, fashion, and budget.
• Measure facial parameters (e.g., pupillary distance) and assist with proper fit and height adjustments.
• Perform basic adjustments and minor repairs (e.g., tightening screws, adjusting nose pads) to ensure comfort and durability.
• Process sales transactions, handle payments (cash/credit), and manage insurance processing where applicable.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation.
• Stock inventory, restock display shelves, and ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards.
• Stay informed about new styles, trends, lens technologies, and promotions. [
• Assist in scheduling appointments with optometrists or other eye-care professionals when needed.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns, aiming to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and contribute to store performance.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong customer service focus with a personable, sales-oriented attitude.
• Attention to detail, especially for precise measurements and fittings.
• Basic mathematical, cash handling, and point-of-sale (POS) system competency.
• Ability to perform routine adjustments and simple repairs on eyewear.
• Flexibility with work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous; optical or eyewear background preferred.
