The Job

Summary:

The ‘Business Development Lead’ is responsible for product demonstrations, and solution presentations to prospective clients, discussing problem statements and the KENTRIX consumer data-driven solutions support addressing them and the use cases for the same.

 

He / She will work closely within the KENTRIX sales team to ensure the technical and functional aspects of the proposed solutions meet customer needs, and close new clients – further upsell / cross-sell to existing clients.


Job Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

Develop deep knowledge of the company’s products and solutions to effectively communicate features and benefits to prospective clients.

 

Customer Engagement:

Work closely with potential clients to understand their requirements, challenges, and objectives. Conduct detailed needs assessments and discovery sessions.


Solution Design:

Design and propose solutions that meet the specific needs of customers, aligning with their business goals and technical environments.


Product Demonstrations:

Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and capabilities of the solutions offered.


Proposal Development:

Developing proposals, including technical documentation, product configurations, and pricing details.


Proof of Concept (PoC):

Plan and execute Proof of Concept engagements, working with customers to validate the effectiveness of the proposed solutions.


Collaboration:

Collaborate with product management, and engineering teams to ensure solutions are feasible and align with the clients requirements.


Market Analysis:

Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to provide relevant insights and recommendations.


Training:

Provide training and support to client teams to enhance their knowledge about utilizing the KENTRIX consumer-data driven solutions.

 

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.


Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a (Pre)Sales, technical consulting, or similar role. Experience in the relevant industry or technology sector and Sales is preferred.


Technical Skills:

Proficiency in the relevant Word / PowerPoint / Excel. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and system architecture. Preferably also Data Analytics Software skills, such as SQL, etc.


Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to present complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand customer challenges and devise effective solutions.


Interpersonal Skills:

Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and persuade clients. Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively.

 

Project Management:

Experience in project management or leading cross-functional teams is a plus.


Reporting:

- Reports to the Head of Sales, and CEO.
