About Purely Ecoware LLPPurely Ecoware LLP is an early-stage sustainability startup with a clear mission: to replace single-use plastic with eco-friendly, biodegradable alternatives and contribute to building a plastic-free nation and ultimately, a plastic-free world.
We work with products made from sugarcane (bagasse), corn starch, paper, areca leaves, and other natural materials, offering practical and scalable alternatives to plastic tableware. Our focus is on solutions that balance environmental responsibility, affordability, and real-world usability.
- Our VisionShort-term :
- Build a strong sales foundation from scratch and establish Purely Ecoware LLP as a trusted ecoware brand across India. This includes identifying and onboarding target customers, building repeat business, and validating strong product–market fit. Our immediate focus is to supply eco-friendly tableware solutions to HoReCa, corporates, distributors, and offices, while actively contributing to reducing single-use plastic waste at scale
- Long-term :
- Expand our presence beyond domestic markets by exporting Purely Ecoware products internationally, while moving towards in-house manufacturing of all products. Our long-term goal is to build a vertically integrated, scalable, and globally recognized ecoware brand that plays a meaningful role in creating a plastic-free world.
This is a ground-up journey, and we’re looking for someone who wants to build, not just manage.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a Sales Manager who embraces challenges and actively seeks opportunities. This role is meant for someone who thinks like an expert in their field.
You will be responsible for building sales from scratch, making real-time decisions, owning outcomes, and driving growth in a fast-moving startup.
The ideal candidate:

You will work closely with the founders and play a key role in shaping our sales strategy, customer base, and go-to-market approach.
- Key ResponsibilitiesBuild Purely EcoWare’s sales function from the ground up and take ownership of early revenue growth
- Identify, onboard, and grow key customers across HoReCA, corporates, distributors, and institutions
- Drive lead generation, client meetings, negotiations, and closures independently
- Establish repeat business and long-term customer relationships
- Own monthly and quarterly sales targets and execution strategy
- Provide on-ground market insights to shape pricing, positioning, and product strategy
- Set up simple, scalable sales processes and reporting as the business grows
- Qualifications & SkillsExperience & Background2–5 years of experience in Sales or Business Development
- Prior experience in FMCG, HoReCA supplies, tableware, packaging, or sustainability-driven products is a strong plus
- Startup or early-stage business experience preferred
- Skills & TraitsStrong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Street-smart, proactive, and execution-oriented mindset
- Comfortable with field sales and direct customer interactions
- Ability to analyze markets, customer needs, and sales data
- Education & ToolsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
- Working knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
