Job Summary

A Floor Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of a retail store or other business unit within a company. They are responsible for ensuring that employees are meeting sales and customer service targets, maintaining inventory levels, and managing daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise a team of sales associates and other staff members
• Ensure that all employees are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure that products are stocked and displayed properly
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Resolve customer complaints and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
• Train and develop employees to ensure that they are equipped with the necessary skills to succeed in their roles
• Monitor and analyse sales and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and manage a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with inventory management and retail operations

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred)
• Previous experience in retail or a related industry
