Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

• Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and ledger maintenance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle revenue recognition for events, ticketing, sponsorships, and partnerships
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expense controls

Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation)
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Assist in audits and financial reviews

Payments & Reconciliation

• Oversee vendor payments, artist payouts, and settlement cycles
• Reconcile bank statements, payment gateways, and event-wise collections
• Track advances, deposits, and post-event financial closures

Reporting & Controls

• Generate MIS reports for management and event profitability analysis
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls
• Maintain accurate documentation and financial records
• Requirements & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance.
• 4–7 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards & GST laws
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally and Excel )
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work under tight timelines, especially during live events
