Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer who can independently manage structural design for Pharma facilities, Commercial buildings, PEB structures, Steel structures, and Residential projects. The candidate should be proficient in relevant national & international design codes, possess strong analytical skills, and be well-versed with the latest structural design software. The role requires close coordination with internal architectural teams and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform structural analysis and design for various project types including Pharma, Commercial, Industrial, PEB, Steel, and Residential structures.
• Prepare structural design calculations, reports, BOQs, and detailed drawings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Review architectural drawings and coordinate with architects to finalize structural schemes.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams for design clarifications and smooth execution.
• Conduct design optimization for cost efficiency and structural safety.
• Review shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
• Provide technical support during construction and resolve site queries.
• Mentor junior engineers and review their work.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of structural design principles for RCC and Steel structures.
• Expertise in design codes such as IS, ACI, BS, Eurocodes (as applicable).
• Proficiency in structural software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, Tekla, AutoCAD, etc.
• Ability to independently handle multiple projects.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferred).
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in structural design consultancy or EPC companies.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience working on pharma or regulated industry projects is highly desirable.
• Prior experience handling projects independently from concept to execution.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site practices.
