Senior Procurement Officer

· Create and put into action plans to buy goods and services that save money, maintain quality, and ensure timely delivery.

· Oversee the entire buying process, from finding suppliers to negotiating contracts and finalizing agreements.

· Build good relationships with suppliers to get quality service at competitive prices.

· Research the market to find potential suppliers.

· Work with team members to understand what the organisation needs to purchase.

· Track and analyze procurement performance to find ways to improve.

· Make sure all buying activities follow company rules and regulations.

· Lead and support the procurement team to help them grow and improve their skills.

· Negotiate contracts to get the best possible terms.

· Prepare and share reports with senior management about procurement activities and savings.
