Senior Travel Consultant

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Tourism and Travel Consultant to assist clients in planning and organizing their travel itineraries. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of travel destinations, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

The role requires proactive problem-solving, strategic planning, and collaboration with internal and external teams to enhance overall efficiency.

Qualifications

* Experience required minimum 2-3 years in this industry 

* Graduate in any stream + Tourism / IATA degree preferred but not mandatory 

* Proficiency in client relationship management and effective communication

* Knowledge of travel and tourism industry trends, logistics, and itinerary planning

* Knowledge of OTA systems like TBO/Otilla/ Rezlive/Expedia/Amadeus etc 

* Knowledge of destinations. Having certifications for the same is an added bonus.

* Experience with team collaboration, vendor management, and customer service excellence

* Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

* Familiarity with travel industry networks is preferred

* ⁠Proficiency in MS Excel, email communication, and reporting

Key Responsibilities

Travel Operations

* Manage complete travel operations for FIT, group, and corporate clients

* Design and execute customized travel itineraries

* Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, DMCs, and other vendors

* Ensure smooth execution of bookings and on-ground travel services

* Handle domestic and international air ticket bookings

* Issue, reissue, cancel, and refund tickets in accordance with airline rules

* Liaise with airlines and consolidators for confirmations and escalations

•Prepare and verify travel documents including tickets, vouchers, invoices, and itineraries

•Coordinate with finance for billing, collections, and refunds
