Shift Incharge

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and supervise assigned shifts to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.

• Execute all tasks assigned by the Restaurant Manager diligently, on schedule and to the highest standards.

• Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed, including inventory, cash handling and reporting.

• Adhere strictly to duty rosters and maintain punctuality.

• Be flexible to work rotational tasks across Pantry, Kitchen, Service and Cashiering as required.

• Greet, welcome and escort guests to their tables in a professional and friendly manner.

• Present and explain the menu confidently, upsell products as per daily briefings and remain knowledgeable about all offerings.

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets.

• Participate actively in daily briefings and monthly meetings, sharing feedback and suggestions for improvement.

• Guide housekeeping staff for front-of-house and back-area cleaning activities.

• Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies immediately and take ownership of stock management.

• Be well-versed with the billing system and handle cashiering duties as per schedule.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the restaurant and back-of-house areas.

• Be knowledgeable about scooping, plating, presentation and thawing processes to ensure product quality.
