Job Summary

The Shift In-Charge is responsible for managing day-to-day production activities during the assigned shift, ensuring smooth operations, product quality, food safety, and team discipline. This role supervises production staff, monitors processes, and ensures targets are met efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production activities during the assigned shift
• Ensure ice cream production meets quality, hygiene, and food safety standards (HACCP/GMP)
• Monitor mixing, freezing, filling, packing, and cold storage operations
• Ensure adherence to production plans, output targets, and timelines
• Manage manpower allocation, attendance, and shift discipline
• Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns to maintenance
• Ensure proper cleaning, sanitation, and CIP activities
• Maintain production records, logs, and shift reports
• Control raw material usage and minimize wastage
• Enforce safety rules and ensure a safe working environment
• Coordinate with QA, maintenance, and warehouse teams
