Site Store Incharge

• Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving & Verification of Finishing Materials

Receive finishing materials as per purchase order and delivery challans.

• Verify quality, quantity, brand, color, and specifications (tiles size, shade, batch, fittings type, etc.).
• Coordinate with QA/QC and site engineers for material inspection.
• Report shortages, damages, or mismatched items immediately.

2. Material Storage & Identification Ensure safe and organized storage of delicate finishing materials:

• Tiles & stone
• Sanitary & CP fittings
• Electrical materials
• Paints & chemicals
• Doors, frames, hardware
• False ceiling materials
• Maintain separate stacking based on size, shade, batch number, and type.
• Use proper labeling and coding for easy identification.

3. Material Issuing & Consumption Tracking Issue materials only against approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).

• Ensure exact quantities are issued as per room/area requirement.
• Track consumption on a daily basis to avoid wastage or pilferage.
• Maintain records for room-wise/flat-wise finishing material consumption.

4. Inventory Management Maintain updated stock registers (manual + digital).

• Conduct frequent stock audits for high-value finishing items.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and alert procurement for replenishment.
• Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method to avoid damage or color mismatch.

Technical Skills

Good knowledge of finishing materials used in civil construction

• Ability to identify tile sizes, shades, sanitary brands, electrical components
• Experience in inventory control and documentation
• Proficiency in Excel or store management software

Soft Skills Attention to detail

• Good organizational and record-keeping ability
• Communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure during peak finishing stages
• High level of integrity and responsibility
