Job Summary

The Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities while ensuring safety compliance, quality control, and efficient site management. The role involves coordinating with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and workers to ensure that work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance with site safety rules and enforce mandatory use of PPE such as helmets, safety shoes, gloves, reflective jackets, goggles, and safety harnesses.
• Conduct regular toolbox talks, safety briefings, and site inspections to identify and eliminate unsafe acts and conditions.
• Ensure safe working practices during work at height, electrical operations, material lifting, and shifting activities.
• Take immediate action in case of site accidents, including stopping work, arranging first aid, reporting incidents, and maintaining records.
• Check and verify the quality of materials delivered to site through visual inspection, test certificates, and approvals.
• Ensure all construction work meets quality standards, proper workmanship, curing, and finishing as per specifications.
• Stop non-conforming work and coordinate with engineers for corrective actions to avoid rework.
• Maintain quality control and site records such as inspection reports, material approvals, test results, and daily progress reports.
• Plan and organize daily work activities based on project schedule, manpower availability, and material supply.
• Manage and allocate manpower effectively to achieve productivity and timely completion of work.
• Track work progress through daily measurements and reports and update senior staff on site status.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely execution and material availability.
• Handle site-level issues such as delays, shortages, and worker conflicts in a professional manner.
• Maintain discipline, productivity, and proper communication among workers at site.
• Ensure proper display of safety signage and adherence to company and statutory guidelines.
• Act as a link between site team, engineers, and management for smooth project execution.

• Capability to manage manpower and site activities efficiently
• Qualification & Experience (Optional – can be customized)
• Diploma / ITI / Civil Engineering background preferred
• 2–5 years of experience in building or infrastructure projects
