Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and trend-aware Social Media Executive to manage and grow social media platforms for an entertainment news website covering movies, television, OTT platforms, celebrities, and trending topics. The candidate should understand digital news consumption and pop culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily posting across Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), YouTube Shorts, and other platforms

• Create captions, reels, carousels, polls, and breaking entertainment news posts

• Track and publish news related to movies, TV shows, OTT releases, celebrities, and viral trends

• Coordinate with editorial and video teams to increase content reach

• Post live updates for TV shows, trailers, celebrity events, promotions, and interviews

• Monitor trending hashtags, memes, and entertainment news movements

• Engage with audiences through comments, messages, and community posts

• Analyze social media performance and prepare basic reports

• Follow content guidelines and brand tone consistently

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Bollywood, OTT platforms, TV serials, and celebrity culture

• Good English and Hindi writing skills suited for social media

• Hands-on experience with Instagram Reels, Stories, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook posts

• Basic understanding of hashtags, algorithms, and analytics

• Ability to work in a fast-paced digital news environment

• Creative thinking with quick turnaround ability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in entertainment media, digital news portals, or media pages

• Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, or similar tools

• Experience in reel scripting or short-form video captions is an advantage
