Social Media Manager

About the Role: Bamboostan manages multiple social media accounts, each with a distinct purpose:

• Sales-driven (product & offers)
• Informative / educational (usage, movement, learning)
• Inspiring / brand-led (lifestyle, philosophy, long-term vision)

We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can handle multiple accounts with different tones and objectives, while maintaining a consistent brand identity across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy & Planning: Understand the objective and tone of each social media account
• Create monthly and weekly content calendars for multiple accounts
• Plan content aligned to sales, education, or brand inspiration (as applicable)
• Content Creation & Publishing:

Create and publish:

• Reels
• Carousels
• Static posts
• Stories

Write captions suitable for different intents:

• Sales-oriented
• Informative
• Inspiring / brand-led
• Ensure content is clear, relevant, and on-brand
• Account Management: Manage daily posting and hygiene across platforms (primarily Instagram; Facebook secondary)
• Maintain visual and tone consistency within each account
• Avoid content duplication and message confusion across accounts

Community Management: Respond to comments and DMs in a timely and brand-appropriate manner

• Engage with relevant pages, creators, and communities as required
• Performance TrackingTrack basic performance metrics such as:
• Reach
• Engagement
• Saves & shares
• Share simple insights on what type of content works for each account type
• Strong understanding of all social media platforms content formats
• Ability to write captions in different tones (sales, educational, inspirational)
• Basic working knowledge of tools like Canva or similar
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Experience managing multiple brand accounts simultaneously
• Basic understanding of content performance and audience behaviour
