Store Manager

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated, responsible, and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily operations of our wine and spirits retail outlet. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of alcoholic beverages, proven retail management experience, and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently, maximizing sales, and delivering outstanding customer service.

• Key Responsibilities:Store Operations:

• Oversee daily store operations including opening, closing, stock arrangement, cleanliness, and compliance.
• Manage and maintain store inventory levels and ensure timely reordering of stock.
• Monitor expiry dates, breakages, and product damages, and report accordingly.
• Sales & Customer Service:
• 
  
• Drive store sales and profitability through customer engagement and up-selling.
• Handle customer queries, complaints, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Stay informed on current products, pricing, offers, and industry trends.

• Compliance & Reporting:
• 
  
• Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements related to sale of alcohol.
• Maintain all necessary records including sales reports, inventory logs, and compliance documents.
• Prepare and submit regular sales and performance reports to management.
• Cash & POS Handling:
• 
  
• Oversee billing, cash handling, reconciliation, and daily closure of accounts.
• Manage digital payment methods and troubleshoot POS-related issues.
• Requirements:Proven experience (3+ years) in retail management; prior experience in wine/liquor industry is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and related products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership ability with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as per store timings.
• Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or relevant field.

Compensation:Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Incentives based on store performance may apply.
