Tax Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Tax Assistant to support our firm's tax and audit functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely compliance for our clients across various direct and indirect tax frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Income Tax Compliance: Prepare and file Income Tax Returns (ITR) for individuals, firms, and corporate entities.
• Audit Support: Assist senior staff in conducting statutory and tax audits, including data verification, voucher checking, and preparing audit working papers.
• TDS Compliance: Handle the end-to-end process for Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), including calculation, payment, and the timely filing of quarterly TDS returns.
• Professional Tax (PT): Manage the registration and monthly/annual filing of Professional Tax returns for clients.
• Data Reconciliation: Assist in the reconciliation of financial data to ensure accuracy in tax filings and audit disclosures.
• Communication: Coordinate with clients to gather necessary documentation and information required for various filings.
