Job Description: Sales & Marketing Manager – Electrical Components & SolutionsExperience Required: Minimum 5+ years in Electrical Components & Solutions Sales & Marketing


Role Objective - Own the end-to-end sales cycle of electrical solutions. Build strong client networks, aggressively pursue projects, and deliver consistent target overachievement while expanding the company’s market footprint.


Key Responsibilities


Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve and overachieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & OB targets.
  • Deliver 100%+ order closure rate on assigned projects through aggressive follow-up and specification selling.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).


Project & Client Management

  • Maintain a comprehensive list of all electrical consultants, contractors, turnkey contractors, builders, and industrial clients.
  • Track all live and upcoming projects in the territory with end-to-end ownership until closure.
  • Ensure company solutions are specified in BOQs/tenders and replace competitor specs wherever possible.
  • Submit weekly and monthly detailed reports on project funnel, sales pipeline, and competitor insights.


Competitor & Market Intelligence

  • Collect competitor pricing, product details, and strategies on every project.
  • Provide management with counter-strategies and winning solutions to secure projects.
  • Continuously increase project hit ratio MoM by converting competitor-driven opportunities into company wins.


Forecasting & Reporting

  • Provide accurate fortnightly/monthly forecasts of OB, sales, and payment collections.
  • Present weekly reviews on funnel size, channel growth, and hit ratio improvements.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to support management in go-to-market strategies.

Channel Expansion

  • Grow channel network month-on-month to expand coverage and penetration.
  • Develop and nurture high-performing partners to drive project inflow.
  • Review channel and funnel performance monthly with action plans for improvement.


Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • ≥100% achievement of OB & Sales targets every month.
  • MoM increase in funnel size and project hit ratio.
  • Weekly competitor intelligence reports submitted without fail.
  • On-time payment collection as per forecast.
  • Channel expansion targets achieved quarterly.


Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record of 5+ years in sales & marketing of electrical components/solutions.
  • Strong personal network with electrical consultants, contractors, turnkey contractors, builders, and industries.
  • Aggressive, target-driven performer with a history of consistent overachievement.
  • Excellent skills in specification selling, competitor mapping, and negotiation.
  • Open to extensive travel and fieldwork.
  • Highly self-motivated, with a win-at-any-cost mindset.
