Key responsibilities
- Outbound Calling: Make calls to prospective and existing customers to generate leads and offer loan products such as home loans, personal loans, or business loans.
- Product Explanation: Clearly explain loan products, interest rates, eligibility criteria, and the benefits of different loan options.
- Lead Qualification: Identify and qualify potential clients by understanding their needs and financial requirements to ensure they are a good fit for the company's products.
- Sales and Closing: Guide customers through the loan application process, assist with necessary documentation, and follow up on leads to close sales and meet monthly targets.
- Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, provide information, and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all client interactions, transactions, and follow-up activities in a database.
- Collaboration: Work with other sales and underwriting teams to ensure a smooth and efficient loan approval process for the client.
- Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends and new loan products to provide accurate information and effective advice.
Essential qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field like finance or business administration is often preferred, though some positions are open to graduates with other degrees.
- Experience: Prior experience in telecalling, loan sales, or customer service is beneficial, but many entry-level positions are available for freshers.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and a calm demeanor, especially when dealing with customer inquiries or issues.
- Goal-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Strong computer literacy, including basic proficiency with Word and Excel.
