Job Summary:
As a Telesales Representative, you will be responsible for proactively contacting potential customers, presenting products or services, and closing sales deals over the phone. Your primary goal is to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
Responsibilities:
Cold Calling: Initiate outbound calls to potential customers to introduce products or services and generate interest.
Lead Qualification: Qualify leads and gather relevant information about the customer's needs, budget, and decision-making process.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's products or services to effectively communicate features, benefits, and value propositions to customers.
Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers, addressing their needs and showcasing how the product or service meets those needs.
Objection Handling: Handle objections and concerns effectively, addressing customer hesitations and providing solutions or additional information to close deals.
Sales Closing: Close sales deals by guiding customers through the purchasing process, negotiating terms, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions in the CRM system, including details of sales, follow-up activities, and any other relevant information.
Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to share customer feedback, market insights, and contribute to continuous improvement.
Feedback and Improvement: Seek feedback from leads and customers to continuously improve sales strategies and approaches.
Requirements:
Proven experience in telesales or a similar sales role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong persuasive and negotiation abilities.
Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Familiarity with CRM software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Resilience and the ability to handle rejection.
Education and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus.
Working Conditions:
Office-based, may involve long periods of phone use.
