Job Description
- Train OperationsOperate monorail trains in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Ensure smooth acceleration, braking, and station stopping accuracy.
- Maintain scheduled train timings and service reliability.
- Passenger SafetyEnsure the safety and comfort of passengers during operations.
- Monitor passenger boarding and alighting at stations.
- Make public announcements when required.
- Safety ComplianceConduct pre-departure safety checks of train systems and equipment.
- Follow signalling instructions and operational guidelines.
- Immediately report any technical faults, abnormalities, or safety concerns.
- Emergency HandlingRespond promptly to technical failures, alarms, or emergency situations.
- Coordinate with the Operations Control Centre (OCC) during incidents.
- Assist in passenger evacuation if required.
- Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate logbooks and operational records.
- Report operational incidents, delays, or safety issues to supervisors.
