Job Description
- Loading & Unloading: Manually load and unload packages, sometimes heavy items (up to 50-100 lbs), using carts or by hand.
- Delivery Assistance: Help the driver navigate, guide the vehicle, and distribute goods to the correct locations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, confirm deliveries, collect signatures, handle payments (cash/card), and resolve basic queries.
- Documentation: Manage delivery slips, order forms, and update delivery records.
- Vehicle Care: Keep the van clean, fueled, and report any issues, ensuring it's roadworthy.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company guidelines, and use proper safety equipment (PPE).
