Key Responsibilities-

Video Editing & Execution

Edit Instagram reels, YouTube shorts, long-form YouTube videos, and podcast clips.

Maintain strong hooks in the first few seconds, clean cuts, engaging pacing, and smooth transitions.

Add captions, text emphasis, b-rolls, sound effects, zooms, and motion elements where required.

Ensure platform-ready outputs aligned with brand guidelines.

Storytelling & Creative Quality

Edit storytelling-style videos while maintaining clarity, flow, and emotional engagement.

Enhance spoken content visually without altering the original meaning.

Understand finance, trading, and mindset content to support educational accuracy.

Tools, AI & Workflow

Work with editing tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar.

Use AI tools for auto-captioning, trimming, masking, cleanup, and visual enhancement where needed.

Deliver edits within defined timelines, including fast turnarounds for short-form content.

Collaboration & Quality Control

Coordinate with the social media and content teams for smooth execution.

Incorporate feedback efficiently and handle revisions professionally.

Maintain organized project files and version control.

Performance Awareness

Edit with retention, watch time, and engagement in mind.

Continuously refine editing style based on content performance and feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in video editing.

A strong portfolio showcasing reels, shorts, podcast clips, or long-form videos.

Ability to edit education, finance, or knowledge-based content clearly and engagingly.

Good command over captions, text animations, and basic motion graphics.

Ability to deliver a 1-minute reel quickly without compromising quality.

Experience working with Ed-Tech, Finance, or content-driven brands is a plus.
