Job Description
A Waiter (also called Server) is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience.
- Customer ServiceGreet guests warmly and escort them to their tables
- Present menus and explain daily specials
- Answer questions about food and beverages
- Handle customer complaints professionally
- Order Taking & ServiceTake accurate food and drink orders
- Enter orders into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Check on guests during meals
- Clear used plates and glasses
- Table Setup & MaintenanceSet tables with proper cutlery and glassware
- Ensure cleanliness of tables and dining area
- Refill water or condiments as needed
