Job Description

  1. Perform 6G welding (SMAW/GTAW/ARC) on pipeline joints as per project specifications.
  2. Read and understand welding drawings, WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
  3. Prepare pipe ends, align pipe joints, and ensure correct root gap before welding.
  4. Carry out root pass, hot pass, fill and cap welding with high-quality standards.
  5. Follow safety rules and maintain all welding equipment in good condition.
  6. Coordinate with QA/QC team for weld inspection (NDT, visual checks).
  7. Repair welds if required and ensure all welds are defect-free.
