Job Description

Job Title: Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM)

Product: Safeon Power Purifier

Company: Punto Corporation Pvt. Ltd.

Role ObjectiveTo build, manage, and expand a strong distribution network while ensuring consistent secondary sales growth for Safeon Power Purifier within the assigned zone.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Distribution Network DevelopmentIdentify, appoint, and onboard Distributors & Dealers across assigned territory
  • Expand network in Metro, A, B & C class cities as per company strategy
  • Ensure proper implementation of company-defined distributor SOPs
  • 2. Secondary Sales Generation : Drive actual market movement (secondary sales) through distributors and dealers
  • Support channel partners in lead conversion and closing deals
  • Monitor stock movement and ensure healthy inventory rotation
  • 3. Market Development : Create demand through field visits, demos, and presentations
  • Identify new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial segments
  • Develop relationships with key customers, consultants, and influencers
  • 4. Channel Partner Support : Train distributors and dealers on product understanding, positioning, and sales approach
  • Assist in site audits, installations, and initial handholding wherever required
  • Ensure partner profitability and long-term engagement
  • 5. Sales Planning & ExecutionAchieve monthly and quarterly sales targets (primary + secondary)
  • Prepare zone-wise business plans and execution strategies
  • Track performance of each distributor and dealer
  • 6. Reporting & Coordination : Maintain accurate reporting of visits, leads, closures, and collections
  • Coordinate with internal teams (technical, service, accounts, logistics)
  • Share regular market feedback and competitor insights
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Number of active Distributors & Dealers appointed
  • Secondary sales volume (market movement)
  • Conversion ratio from leads to sales
  • Distributor performance and retention
  • Territory coverage and market penetration

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 5–10 years in Channel Sales / Distribution Sales
  • Background in Electrical / Industrial Products / Capital Goods preferred
  • Strong understanding of dealer-distributor network management
  • Ability to generate and drive secondary sales independently
  • Good communication, negotiation, and team handling skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned zone
