Account Executive (Accounting)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue invoices based on project milestones, contracts, and work completion certificates.
• Monitor accounts receivable ledger and maintain accurate aging reports.
• Follow up with clients to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies in billing or payments.
• Collaborate with project managers to align billing schedules with project progress.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
• Generate monthly AR reports and support financial closing activities.
• Maintain strong client relationships to minimize disputes and improve collection efficiency.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to streamline invoicing and collections.

📊 Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Strong knowledge of invoicing, reconciliation, and credit control processes.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent).
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
