Accountant

 Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier ledgers, and client accounts.

2. Project Cost Control

• Track material, labor, and equipment costs for fabrication and piling projects.

• Monitor budgets vs. actual expenditures and highlight variances.

• Support project managers with cost forecasting and cash flow planning.

3. Billing & Receivables

• Prepare client invoices based on project milestones and contracts.

• Ensure timely collection of payments and manage accounts receivable.

• Verify work progress certificates before billing.

4. Compliance & Audit

• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings.

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and construction industry regulations.

• Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.

5. Payroll & Vendor Management

• Process payroll for site and office staff.

• Manage vendor accounts, including subcontractors and suppliers.

• Verify purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier invoices before payment.
