Accountant – Work From Home (Hospitality & Real Estate)
Company: Zenia Hospitality / Chill Enterprises LLP
Location: Work From Home
Office Visits: Up to 1–2 days per week (Powai / Goregaon East, Mumbai – as required)

Zenia Hospitality is a design-led hospitality company operating serviced apartments, boutique stays, themed properties, restaurants, and event spaces across Mumbai and other cities. We manage multiple properties, vendors, platforms, and financial workflows and are looking for a reliable, disciplined accountant to strengthen our financial backbone.

Role Summary
We are hiring a full-time Accountant (WFH) who will independently manage daily accounting, reconciliations, compliance coordination, and financial reporting across multiple hospitality properties.
This is not a part-time role. The candidate must be available during working hours and responsive.
Occasional office visits may be required for audits, document verification, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain books of accounts for multiple entities and properties
Daily entry of:
Sales
Expenses
Bank transactions
Vendor payments
Maintain accurate ledgers and trial balances
Track receivables and payables
Bank & Platform Reconciliation
Reconcile bank statements regularly
Reconcile OTA payouts (Airbnb, MMT, Booking, etc.)
Match invoices, settlements, commissions, and refunds
Identify discrepancies and follow up
GST & Compliance Support
Prepare GST data for filing (coordination with CA)
Track invoices and input credits
Maintain compliance documentation
Reporting
Monthly P&L reports
Property-wise revenue and expense tracking
Cash flow monitoring
Outstanding receivables/payables summary
Documentation & Controls
Maintain digital filing system
Invoice management
Audit readiness
Process improvement suggestions
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals
Experience in Tally / Zoho Books / similar accounting software
Good Excel / Google Sheets skills
Understanding of GST basics
High integrity and accuracy
Ability to work independently without micromanagement
Clear communication
Reliable internet and laptop
Hospitality / real estate accounting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
