Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager

Summary JD

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Sales Manager to support business growth and drive revenue in the Financial Services / Wealth

Management / Investment Advisory Solutions domain. The role involves building client relationships, executing sales strategies, managing the sales pipeline, and ensuring high conversion rates. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, leadership, and analytical abilities, with experience in consultative sales, cold calling, and selling to HNI clients.


Key

Responsibilities

1.

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

·        Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

·        Handle lead calling, nurturing, follow-ups, networking, and referrals.

·        Identify and convert new business opportunities, especially within financial services clientele (HNI & affluent segment).

·        Support in developing and executing sales plans aligned with organizational goals.

2.

Client Relationship Management

·        Build, manage, and retain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

·        Conduct client meetings, consultations, and presentations.

·        Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.

3.

End-to-End Sales Cycle Ownership

·        Manage lead qualification, proposal preparation, and closure.

·        Maintain timely follow-ups for higher conversion rates.

·        Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

4.

Market Analysis & Reporting

·        Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

·        Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for management review.

·        Recommend improvements to sales strategies using actionable insights.

5.

Customer Service & Support

·        Maintain strong rapport with key accounts to maximize retention.

·        Address customer queries promptly and professionally.

·        Ensure post-sale service support through coordination with relevant teams.

6.

Compliance & Professional Ethics

·        Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

·        Maintain confidentiality of client information, especially within financial advisory operations.

·        Uphold integrity and transparency throughout the sales process.


Skills

& Qualifications

Education

·        Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field (mandatory).

·        Master’s degree or certification in Sales/Marketing is an added advantage.

Required

Skills

·        Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

·        Strong closing and negotiation abilities.

·        Good understanding of sales processes & CRM tools.

·        Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

·        Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

·        Strong follow-up discipline and a target-driven mindset.

Experience

·        3–8 years of experience in Sales or Business Development.

·        Experience in B2C/HNI

Sales highly preferred.

·        Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

·        Experience with cold

calling is mandatory.
