AutoCAD Draughtsman

Role Overview

As a Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed

cleanroom and HVAC layout drawings. You will work closely with engineers, project

managers, and clients to ensure accurate representation of cleanroom designs that

comply with regulatory guidelines and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities• Cleanroom & HVAC Layouts: Prepare accurate cleanroom and HVAC

drawings based on engineering and architectural inputs. Modify layouts as per

project updates, equipment placement, and client feedback.

• HVAC Integration: Collaborate with HVAC engineers to incorporate ducting,

vents, and diffusers, ensuring optimal airflow and contamination control.

• Technical Detailing: Interpret engineering drawings, datasheets, and PFDs into

precise layouts while ensuring compliance with cleanroom standards.

• CAD Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or similar CAD software for

design creation and revisions; stay updated with new tools and methods.

• Quality & Accuracy: Maintain high accuracy in all drawings; review layouts

for compliance with specifications and regulatory norms.

• Collaboration: Work with architects, engineers, and project managers to

deliver seamless designs; explain concepts effectively to technical and non

technical stakeholders.

• Documentation: Maintain version-controlled records of drawings, revisions,

and bills of materials (BOMs).

• Site Support: Visit project sites to verify implementation of designs, resolve

layout-related issues, and ensure design intent is achieved.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a

related discipline.

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent).

• Strong knowledge of cleanroom design principles, HVAC systems, and

regulatory standards.

• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Prior experience in cleanroom design or pharmaceutical projects will be an

added advantage.
