A Countersales Executive is a frontline retail or service professional responsible for assisting customers at a sales counter, promoting products or services, and completing transactions. This role is common in retail stores, showrooms, banks, travel agencies, and parts departments (e.g., auto parts).

• Key Responsibilities:Customer Interaction: Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide product or service information.
• Sales & Upselling: Recommend products, answer queries, and try to upsell or cross-sell when possible.
• Inventory Coordination: Check stock availability and help with inventory management.
• Billing & Payment Handling: Prepare invoices, handle payments (cash, card, digital), and issue receipts.
• Complaint Resolution: Address basic customer complaints and escalate issues when needed.
