Job Description
- Assess and underwrite short-term and personal loan applications in line with internal credit policies and regulatory norms.
- Review credit bureau reports (CIBIL), Account Aggregator data, and bank statements to evaluate repayment capacity.
- Analyze income stability, employer profile, credit mix, existing loan exposure, and repayment behavior.
- Identify hidden obligations by cross-verifying salary credits, EMI outflows, and bounced transactions.
- Conduct document verification and validate customer information to mitigate fraud risks.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams for case clarifications and ensure timely processing.
- Update CRM systems with accurate approval/rejection decisions along with detailed justifications.
- Ensure adherence to defined TAT (Turnaround Time) while maintaining underwriting quality standards.
- Check existing loan exposure with partner NBFCs and evaluate repayment performance.
- Categorize thin-file and thick-file customers and assess risk accordingly.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and provide feedback to risk and analytics teams.
