Job Description
Job Summary Operate industrial machines to wash, dry, and finish fabrics. You must ensure all textiles are clean, treated for stains, and ready for delivery.
Core Duties
- Sort & Prep: Group items by fabric and color; pre-treat stains and tag items for tracking.
- Machine Work: Load industrial washers/dryers and mix the correct cleaning chemicals and dyes.
- Finishing: Use steam presses to remove wrinkles; inspect for holes or stains; fold and pack for shipping.
Key Requirements
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of fabrics and how to use large laundry machinery.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy, wet loads (up to 25kg).
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to spot small defects and keep high volumes of laundry organized.
