Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of hardware and networking systems at client sites. This role involves travel to different locations, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, servers, networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), and peripherals.
• Perform on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of hardware and networking issues.
• Set up and maintain LAN/WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks.
• Perform routine system checks and preventive maintenance.
• Provide technical support to clients in-person or remotely as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement and warranty services.
• Document service reports, issue logs, and network diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection protocols.
• Educate clients on basic troubleshooting and usage of hardware/network systems.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a hardware/network field engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking protocols, and hardware components.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux OS, Cisco/Juniper networking equipment, and structured cabling.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or similar.
