Job Position: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide routine and emergency medical care to patients during duty hours and support 24-hour hospital coverage.
• Assess and manage patient admissions when the consultant is unavailable.
• Conduct regular ward rounds and maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other departments for patient care and treatment.
• Monitor patient progress, respond to medical emergencies, and perform necessary clinical procedures within competence.
• Assist in patient discharge planning and preparation of discharge summaries.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and clinical guidelines.
• Provide emergency care to hospital staff or visitors if required.
• Ensure proper documentation for procedures, medications, deaths, and hospital records.
• Support hospital operations by collaborating with the clinical team and complying with hospital standards and regulations.

Note:

The RMO will work under the guidance of consultants and hospital management and may be assigned additional duties as required by the hospital.
