Interior Design Coordinator

Role: Design Team Leader

Location: Mumbai (INDIA)

Employment: Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead a design team of 4-5 technical designers, managing design tasks and providing technical input

on design elements.

• Collaborate, maintain daily communication and reporting to different international teams, such as

UAE based managing team ad Italy based design office.

• Ensure the design tasks are executed with the required quality and within given time schedule.

• Engineer/design system drawings, shop-drawings, fabrication drawings, site drawings for projects

and project's prototypes.

• Ensure that finished products meet quality standards.

• Analyse user interactions with a product to understand their needs and oversee design changes

that can provide a better user experience.

• Ensure the hourly budget ,cost and deadlines are maintained for each project.
• Ensure the accuracy in delivery of final design to Head office
• Ensure participation in weekly head office calls for new tenders and new project for Designs
• Ensure the cost of Design team is maintained as per Head office standards

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience of min 5years in the role of Design Lead or similar role within the fitout / Interior

Design industry.

• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk inventor, SketchUp, Navisworks and other relevant

design software.

• Solid understanding of construction and interior design principles and strong attention to detail and

accuracy in drafting technical drawings.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary

international team.

• Languages: Hindi & professional English.

• Knowledge of Euro building codes and regulations is an advantage.

• A portfolio showcasing previous drafting work and design projects is preferred.
