Job Description

The Sales & Process Trainer is responsible for planning, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programs for new hires and existing employees engaged in Telesales activities for the United States market. The role requires a structured professional who can provide high-quality sales training, process orientation, compliance education, and ongoing coaching to ensure readiness for production and continuous improvement in performance.

The position demands strong communication, presentation, and instructional skills, along with deep expertise in Telesales behaviour, US customer handling, objection management, and compliance-related requirements. The trainer is expected to uphold Interactis’ standards of excellence and contribute to building a high-performing, efficient, and compliant Telesales workforce.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

Sales Training.

·        Conduct structured telesales training sessions covering call flow, tonality, objection handling, rapport building, closing techniques, and customer engagement strategies.

·        Facilitate mock calls, live simulations, and structured role-plays to build practical sales readiness.

·        Reinforce confidence, discipline, and clarity in trainees to effectively handle inbound misdials, inbound offers, and outbound sales calls.

 

Process & Program Training.

·        Deliver program-specific process training for every campaign, including scripts, product knowledge, compliance requirements, CRM usage, FAQs, and operational guidelines.

·        Update training content and materials based on business needs, client requirements, or performance gaps identified.

 

Compliance & Quality Orientation.

 

·        Train employees on all compliance disclosures, call recording requirements, payment handling instructions, verification procedures, and precise adherence to regulatory guidelines.

·        Conduct refresher programs periodically to minimize compliance deviations and maintain training-to-floor quality consistency.

 

Assessments & Reporting.

·        Conduct written tests, Voice and Accent evaluations, call simulations, process quizzes, and overall performance assessments for each trainee.

·        Prepare and publish daily trainee performance reports and weekly training summaries.

·        Maintain complete documentation of assessments, coaching sessions, attendance, and throughput.

 

Batch Management & Coaching. 

·        Manage training batches end-to-end, ensuring discipline, punctuality, productivity, and high engagement.

·        Conduct individual and group coaching sessions to address skill gaps, behavioural concerns, or process-related deficiencies.

·        Ensure high throughput and readiness of each batch transitioning to the production floor.

 

Production Floor Alignment.

·        Handle/Answer, and Audit calls periodically (minimum 10 per week) to remain current with customer issues, sales objections, system challenges, and quality expectations.

·        Coordinate closely with Operations and Quality Assurance to identify areas requiring intervention or retraining.

 

Hiring Support.

·        Participate in the talent selection process through facilitation of assessments, communication screening, and suitability evaluations for telesales positions.

 

Continuous Improvement.

·        Develop innovative training methods, tools, and exercises to enhance training quality and engagement.

·        Stay updated with evolving telesales methodologies, US market customer behaviour, and training best practices.
