IT Support Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer who will be responsible for managing our Azure Virtual Machines, system administration tasks, user support, and overall IT asset management. This role involves handling day-to-day IT operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all laptops, desktops, software, and IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Azure & Server Management

• Setup, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs).
• Monitor VM health, performance, and availability.
• Take regular backups of VMs and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
• Manage storage, network configurations, and security policies in Azure.

2. System & Software Management

• Install, configure, and upgrade software and applications on user systems.
• Perform system formatting, OS installation (Windows/Linux), and basic troubleshooting.
• Handle antivirus, security patches, and system updates.

3. IT Asset Management

• Maintain inventory of all IT assets including laptops, desktops, networking equipment, and accessories.
• Track issuance and return of IT assets to employees.
• Ensure proper documentation of asset lifecycle (procurement → allocation → maintenance → retirement).

4. Troubleshooting & User Support

• Provide day-to-day IT support to all employees.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, network, printers, and connectivity.
• Support remote users with system access, VPN, email, and other tools.

5. Maintenance & Operations

• Ensure regular system audits, health checks, and preventive maintenance.
• Backup management and data-protection compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and procurement when needed.
