Broad Function:

We are seeking a Junior Technician to support electrical panel assembly and wiring activities in our production unit. The role involves panel wiring, crimping, soldering, installation of electrical components, and supporting testing and troubleshooting activities under supervision. The ideal candidate should possess basic technical knowledge of electrical assembly and demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Purpose of the Role:

·      Support electrical panel assembly as per engineering drawings

·      Ensure accurate wiring, crimping, and component installation

·      Maintain quality standards in panel assembly

·      Assist in testing and troubleshooting activities

·      Follow electrical safety standards and production discipline

·      Contribute to safe, clean, and organized production operations

Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):

Electrical Panel Assembly & Wiring:

·      Assist in electrical panel wiring as per schematic diagrams and layout drawings

·      Perform crimping of lugs, ferrules, and connectors using standard tools

·      Carry out basic soldering of wires and small components when required

·      Install and mount electrical components such as MCBs, relays, contactors, terminal blocks, and power supplies

·      Route and dress panel wiring neatly according to company standards

·      Label and number wires and components accurately

Testing and Support

·         Support testing activities such as continuity checks, voltage, and current testing using basic instruments

·         Assist engineering teams in troubleshooting and rework tasks

·         Identify basic wiring errors and report discrepancies

Safety and Process Discipline

·         Maintain tools and workstations in clean and safe condition

·         Follow electrical safety guidelines and safe work practices

·         Ensure adherence to quality standards during assembly

·         Support production targets as guided by the supervisor

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

·         ITI in Electrical / Electronics or Diploma (preferred)

·         0–2 years of experience in electrical panel wiring or control panel assembly

·         Basic ability to read and understand electrical drawings

·         Hands-on exposure to crimping tools and soldering equipment

·         Basic understanding of electrical safety standards

·         Exposure to industrial production environments will be an advantage
